These kits contain adhesive 3M Eurethane vinyl which is 8 mil thick. These kits are intended to severely reduce the amount of pitting your lenses receive from rocks and other foreign objects. Furthermore, as long as you have the headlight kit installed you won't have to tape your headlights at a track day!
