I installed this on the Red tank of my monster and it was nearly invisible. I was getting some wear from my jacket near where the seat meets the tank and this protector worked great at protecting the tank from wear. It is easily removable but stayed on neatly though one season of riding daily and washing every couple of weeks. One of the side panels eventually began to peel off when the weather got down into the 30's.
