It is a proven fact that motorcycles can decelerate more rapidly then a car/truck. The combination of its narrow profile and this brisk change of velocity during braking are the most common causes of rear-ended accidents between these two types of vehicles. This patent pending unit is a solid state device that actively modulates the rear stop light of a vehicle. It is designed to pulsate the vehicle's rear stop light with a variable number of flashes calculated by its embedded algorithm. The algorithm is based on the rate at which the rider/driver applies their brakes. As a result the brake light(s) are flashed in a more subtle manner at lower speed, and more aggressively at higher speed. Unlike other simpler products on the market that continuously "blink" the brake light(s) with some annoying flashing routine each and every time the brakes are applied.
FUNCTION: Upon applying the brakes, the module sends a burst of pulses to the vehicle's stop light. The duration of the burst will be a function of the time elapsed between the current brake cycle and the previous one. After this initial burst, the unit will allow the rear stop light to continue to function normally (solid brake light); Unlike cheaper passive versions that will continuously "blink" the brake light when the vehicle is at a complete stop!
Example at cruising speed: When the frequency at which the driver/rider applies the brakes decrease, (i.e. at cruising speed), the longer the burst to the rear stop light will be. This condition is most valuable during quick sudden decelerations at speed that require quick reaction to change in traffic condition or other driver's intentions. It has been scientifically proven that a quick flashing of a vehicle's brakes will alert the vehicle behind much sooner! The SupaBrake Flasher does this for you.
Example at low speed: When the frequency at which the driver/rider applies the brakes increase, (i.e. during low speed city driving), the shorter the burst or lack of blinks to the rear stop light will be. If the brakes are applied within a certain time frame(0 - 12 seconds between previous usage), the module will NOT flash the stop light - thus allowing it to function normally (solid brake light). This condition is most valuable during heavy stop-and-go traffic so as not to annoy the person or police in the vehicle behind you.

Easy to install doesn't do this any justice. The hardest part of this install is taking off your seat, seriously! This, in combination with an LED taillight will definitely increase your visibility on the road. The flashing is not annoying and seem to only activate only when you need them. A great product!
