The other day a member of my MC went down on his bike and was evacuated by helicopter. The pilot decided to land as close as possible to where we had parked our bikes and blew over two BMW S1000Rs and my Monster S2R 800. One BMW suffered over 4,000 euros worth of damage because he didn't sliders at all. The other BMW suffered some mild damage, but my monster only suffered a few scratches on the slider and a few on the bar end. Thanks to these sliders they and the bar ends were the only thing that made contact with the ground. I love my Monster! I may not be able to keep up with the BMWs and GSXRs on the straight aways, but I keep up in the curves and I was the only one who didn't need help lifting my bike.
