If there were the option for 4.5 stars, I'd give it that just because the pitch is still a bit high. However, the girlfriend hates it because it's so loud, so that probably makes up at least a half-star. I ride in San Francisco daily and put one on each of my bikes. Even with loud pipes I'm constantly getting cut off, but this little baby sure gets people out of your way. Another plus is I can now actually get the attention of riding buddies even when I'm riding behind them!
