I use these mirrors on both left and right sides. The visibility with them is so great that I could get by with just one of them. They do have convex glass, which makes vehicles look smaller (so it's hard to tell if the car behind you is a police officer or not) but you get a nice wide field of view. They are very well made and I believe the manufacturer sells replacement parts to rebuild them if you break the glass or gouge them up dropping the bike.
